One of the most turbulent topics in our industry, how we reward our senior company employees is often talked about but rarely put under the microscope. Leadership succession: Why it matters now

30 May – Brisbane

Few organisations manage leadership succession well. Even fewer integrate external talent into their internal succession plans – which would create long-lasting shareholder value and confidence. In this session we introduce you to two companies at the forefront of executive talent succession – Virgin Australia and Suncorp Group. You’ll hear how each organisation is preparing for the future, how they overcame hurdles and stumbling blocks, by embracing rather than avoiding this often overlooked organisational disruptor.

Career mobility: Fueling organisational growth through meaningful employee pathways

5 June - Sydney

More than half the employees we surveyed last year said they were willing to take on an internal role to gain experience. But how can we know which experiences will provide the best learning and growth for employees and organisations alike? In this increasingly agile world, creating meaningful experiences for our employees is more important than ever. Hear about thelessons we’ve learnt in creating and implementing a career experience project designed to help employees take advantage of curated opportunities at work to drive the career growth of your people, and subsequently business growth.

The gender agenda: The road to pay equity

12 June - Sydney
13 June – Melbourne

Delivering on diversity is a top workforce concern for many companies – understandably. A growing number of organisations are beginning to analyse their pay data to detect and correct gaps between women and men in like roles. However, only 11% of companies use analytics to measure the extent of pay inequities and even fewer at 5% use extensive modelling techniques. Bringing together three leading Australian corporates who are making effective changes in their organisations, this session, you’ll hear QBE Insurance, BHP, Lion and MSD share their perspectives and approaches to this complex issue.
