Global consulting leader Mercer has today announced the addition of six partners to the Australian business.
Mercer welcomes the return of Jo-Anne Bloch and Nick White to the Australian business, the promotions of Glenna O’Callaghan, Peter Baker and Judith Williams, and the appointment of Chris Stevens.
Andrew Godfrey, Chief Operating Officer, Pacific explained the addition of six partners to the Australian business is a clear demonstration of the calibre of people at Mercer and a reflection of the firm’s growth.
“Positioning Mercer for future growth and ensuring we have leadership bandwidth is critical for the delivery of our commitments to clients,” he said.
Jo-Anne Bloch has returned to Australia, taking up the reins as the company’s leader in Wollongong, as a result of Mercer’s acquisition of Pillar in 2016, following three years leading Mercer’s New York-based Global Innovation Hub.
Also returning to Australia from the United Kingdom is Mercer Partner, Nick White. Based in Sydney, Mr White will be continuing in his role as Director of Portfolio Construction Research. His return to Australia will ensure Mercer’s strategic best ideas and forward thinking research are mapped into all clients’ advice and funds.
In addition to the global moves, Mercer would like to congratulate Glenna O’Callaghan, Peter Baker and Judith Williams on their well-deserved promotions and to also welcome Chris Stevens to the business.
Based in our Melbourne office, Mr Stevens has commenced in the role of Commercial Operations Leader. Formerly CEO of Colonial First State Solutions, Mr Stevens’ strong background in Operations Finance, Transformation, Strategy Execution, Client Relationships and Growth ensures he will be a valuable addition to the team.
“This highly experienced team of Partners will contribute to the operational excellence, enhanced delivery of Mercer’s strategy for client services, and support our future growth,” said Mr Godfrey.
