–     How to evaluate new hiring technologies to determine their effects on diversity and inclusion efforts.

–     The effects of new hiring technologies on the evolving landscape of employment law. –

–     Current legal status and future direction related to selection algorithms.

–     How carefully designed technology can make it easier to comply with anti-discrimination laws and ensure legal defensibility of employment decisions.

We encourage you to bring your legal counterparts with you.

Platform for talent: Is your total talent strategy contingent workforce ready?

Sydney

8:30am - 10:30am, 14 November

Panel discussion over breakfast

Ephraim Patrick, People Strategy & Organisation Practice Leader, Mercer
Chris Milligan, CEO and Founder, Adepto
Mareta Cardwell, Director of Professional Services, APAC CXC Global
Paul Chiswick, Corporate Solutions Director, APAC, CXC Global

Organisations continue to invest in building HR infrastructure to engage their permanent workforce. However, due to regulatory challenges and a lack of focus, the general approach to contingent labour in Australia has been inconsistent and ineffective - largely due to a highly distributed supply chain. With the rapidly accelerating growth in the number of contingent workers being employed, HR have struggled to integrate them into a coherent Total Talent strategy.

During this breakfast you will hear how CXC and Adepto are enabling HR's move towards becoming a true 'platform for talent'. Through enabling more effective workforce agility, you'll understand how organisations are able to drive competitive advantage through managing the entire workforce's visibility, quality, efficiency and risk, all whilst reducing costs.

Designing employee experience with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®: Helping your employees navigate their caring responsibilities for their ageing loved ones

Sydney

8:30am - 1:00pm, 22 November

Interactive workshop, breakfast and lunch provided

Will Burkitt, Mercer Post-retirement Innovation Leader
Georgina Lee, Mercer Growth and Experience Leader

The growing number of Australians requiring ageing care means that more employees are taking on additional caregiver roles or needing to find care for their elderly family members. This is often an emotional time for affected employees and can cause additional stress, distraction, and time off work. This is an opportunity for employers to deepen employee loyalty by helping them through this stage of their lives, whilst reducing absences and maintaining productivity.

Facilitated through LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, a methodology that fosters creative thinking to enhance innovation, this workshop will help business and HR leaders find solutions to how they can better support employees as they work through these stressful circumstances, and help solve for one of Australia's growing societal issues.
