Henry tax review

The Henry Tax Review and the initial response from the Australian Government were released by Federal Treasurer Wayne Swan on Sunday 2 May, 2010.

 

The Government's initial response to the Henry Tax Review covers only a small number of Henry's recommendations but includes changes which will substantially improve the adequacy and equity of the superannuation system.

 

The superannuation changes announced are consistent with many of Mercer's recommendations.
